This article is speculative. It covers topics that are not straightforwardly derivable from current knowledge. Take it with a grain of salt. See: "exploratory engineering" for what can be predicted and what not.

This is about a hypothetical hyper isolation chamber isolating against as much types of radiation as possible.
Of course there are some forms of radiation that are inescapable like neutrinos or
extremely high energy particles like the infamous "oh my god particle".
But these are temporally spaced out at least.
The idea here is to filter out all low energy radiation and to as high radiation energy as is physically possible.

And beyond that perhaps even against any kind of interaction with the environment by even isolating agaist quantum decoherence.

Wild crude implementation idea

An idea would be to travel to a decently sized geologically dead asteroid (or Kuiper belt object) an dig down to it's center There put a very thick wall of lead os other suitable radiation shielding. The lead needs to be isotope sorted to not contain any atoms that eventually decay.

Beyond that depending on experiment a thermal hyperisolation layer might be desired.

What's the point?

Good question.
Atomically precision in macroscopic single crystals could be retained for longer. No clue for what purpose.
