Problems that will be not too hard to solve with AP Technology are:

  • removal of carbon dioxide to stop and reverse climate change
  • stopping dependence on scarce elements
  • stopping population boom
  • ending energy scarcity
  • resolving energy storage problems with energy storage cells and chemomechanical converters
  • capture of seaborne plastic waste: great pacific garbage patch
  • protection against some natural disasters
  • better accommodation for the homeless
  • giving back agricultural area to nature
  • avoidance of release of toxic chemicals

Problems that will be hard to tackle even with AP Technology:

  • cleanup of highly dispersed radioactive contaminations in the ground
  • social and financial stability in the time of most rapid change
  • dealing with the new dangers of AP technology e.g. waste management
  • protection against some natural disasters
  • cleanup of old landfills

Further opportunities:

  • making our advanced civilization disaster proof
  • major improvement of public transport
  • better access to space and the deep sea
  • richer and more colorful environment

[TODO: add explanatory chapters for each of them]
