Convenience of size steps of factor 32

For observation and education

Using magnification steps of roughly factor 32 one gets
– from easily by naked eye visible 1mm down
– to atoms well being visible 32nm in just a mere three steps.
Like so: 1mm – 32µm – 1µm – 32nm
This is better for getting an intution for these sizes
than taking more smaller steps of factor 10.

One can see three scales apartt by factior 32 at once.
Only three observation levels needed to see ebveryting like so:
★ 1m – 32mm – (1mm)
★ 1m – 32µm – 1µm
★ 1µm – (32nm) – 1nm
Factor 32 is roughly squatreroot of 1000,
so itmakes for a nice geometric mean middle step.

To literally see all scales at once (albeit distorted)
without needing to resort to cropouts or animated zooms
one can resort to log polar mapping.

For design of convergent assembly in future advanced productive nanosystems

Size scaling steps of a factor of 32 might also be a good tradeoff
for convergent assembly in future gem-gum-factories.
★ Still small emough to be fast to put together
★ Still big emough to not too negatively influence design constraints.
