• Indoor greenhouse faring for all crops
• Vertical farming for all crops (did not work out so well with current technology, also we'll want fusion power for that eventually)
• Forestogriculture … fun wild idea but questionably practical eve if it becomes technically possible.
• General agriculture on the oceans … loads of horizontal space there so long still sticking to direct solar

Reducing and minimizing waste spill plus maximizing cleanup down to a tolerable steady state

  Not spilling waste is a necessary virtue and skill to preserve nature as we learned from the desaster we had (and still have) with non biodegradable synthetic polymer plastics that crumbles into toxic micro-plastic and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) including toxic PFAS (aka forever chemicals)
• The solution to pollution is dilution only works if things degrade faster in nature than they are spilled.
  Much of gemstone based metamaterials will likely not be well degradable. Making a focus on waste spill all the more important.

Guarding for (or rather against) the worst possible catastrophes

For if the worst of the worst happens on Earth (god forbid).
A supervolcanoe eruption could be an extinction level threat form many species not at the blame of human actions.
Yes, this is not extectable any time soon but it can't be proven not to happen very soon.
Unlike asteroid impacts where looking, preparing, and probability estimation is more viable.

Botanical garden and zoo arch habitats

• Habitats off earth maybe including even floating habitats on Venus

Even big plants like trees (arboretums).
