The production and consumption rates of the meeting assembly levels must roughly fit together.
The production rates depend on:
- The density of operational spots of the assembly method. Hardcoded mill style (spots are dense) or general purpouse manipulator style (spots are sparse)
- Operation speed dependent dissipation power and cooling system capacity.
To match the layers together one needs to consider:
- the step sub-product sizes between the assembly layers (how many small parts will be assembled to many big ones)
- wether the size of the assembly method lies nearer to the size of the sub-products of the assembly level below or nearer to the sub-products of the assemble level above.
