This is about deliberately grabbing crystolecules or crystolecular elements
in such a spiky pointy way that the bonding energy form the Van der Waals bonding force is similar or even smaller to the
equipartitioning thermal energy for a degree of freedom.

Why would one want to do that other than experimentally demonstrating/visualizing the known and expected effects:
- of even somewhat larger particles/parts "jumping" away like gas molecules
