Titanosapphire or Titappire (here introduced name).

Stoichometric checkerboard compounds between the isostructural gemstones of
leukosapphire and tistarite (these share the hematite structure)

Hematite can be a third end-member.
It is mechanically weaker but brings conductivity.
Possibly making for a tunable semiconcuctor.
