Why diodes in parallel are problematic

Electrical junction ~ Mechanical differential
Side-note: The rotational mechanical analogy to a simple three way electrical junction (⏧)
is a mechanical differential (conventional or planetary).
A four way junction matches two connected differentials. Five ways three. And so forth.
