I (author of this wiki) pesonally avert using "drexlerian" and always recommend not using it when I see it popping up.

★ It has been (and still is) used by opponents of the idea of diamondoid nanomachinery in a derogative way.
… Often ad-hominem, tying the entire idea to Eric and his reputation only.

★ Or used by overexcited fanboys that caused change with a negative sign
… (roughly citing Eric Drexlers words at the end if his book "Radical Abundance").

★ The …ian postfix generally has a crackpot vibe to it.
… Maybe quantifyable in usage statistics?

★ Also I would personally really strongly dislike when things I came up with would start to be called süssian or mechadensian. … Redaers perception may vary. Take it just as an ask to imagine it.

… (Author of this wiki tries to stay pathway agnostic.)
