Accidental path

This is about getting to advanced productive nanosystems like gemstone metamaterial nanofactories by accident without any much focused effort especially early on where the prospect is not obvious yet. This may happen but may also prolong the time it takes to get there by a large factor. Given the undescribably large potential of advanced APM to solve all sorts of serious global civilization problems, a large delay in getting to this technology would be quite bad.

This wiki is partially written to make a point that we schold not take this accidental path.
